Protestors Light Up in Front of White House

On Saturday more than 100 cannabis activists sparked up joints in front of the White House in Washington D.C. to protest what they feel is President Obama’s indifference to marijuana users.

The event’s organizer, DCMJ, had this to say on their website: "We will not be seeking any type of permit from the National Park Police because it is our constitutional right to peacefully gather and demand Obama stop being hypocrite. He smoked cannabis and became the president of the United States, and while he might think cannabis is a bad habit, does he seriously think it’s on par with heroin, nicotine, or alcohol?"

In addition to firing up at 4:20 pm ET, protestors tried to get a 51-foot inflatable joint in front of the White House as well, but they were rebuffed by the Secret Service before they could get too close.
