A while back I did a story dubbed "EAZE, The Uber of Pot". This not to be confused with today's story, "The Real Uber Of Pot". Perhaps I acted prematurely by refering to Eaze as "the Uber of pot," because clearly now that Uber is in the marijuana delivery business, it is now safe to say Uber is the new Uber of pot. Uber, I give you this new motto freely and only ask for perhaps a free t-shirt (with said motto) and a platinum Uber charge card that I would never have to pay... Deal?

There are plenty of car service apps out there trying to make a name for themselves. The fan favorite at the moment is an app called Uber and, with its latest announcement, Uber may increase their client base exponentially.
Uber has announced a partnership with WeedMaps. In addition, a CANNABIS dispensary called The Clinic in Denver, Colorado, has saddled up to the deal, to prevent MARIJUANA smokers from unnecessarily driving high. We’ve all found ourselves in the hairy situation of being a little too under the influence and without a ride. According to TechCrunch, “each time a stoner hitches a ride with Uber using the promo code ‘clinicms,’ the company will donate $5 to multiple sclerosis research – a fitting combination with medical marijuana roots.”
So, you’re not only getting a safe ride, but you’re donating to a worthy cause. I would say as a stoner, what else could you ask for in that situation? I mean maybe you’d want the driver to let you hot box the ride on the way home, but that would just be pushing your luck!
