How You Can Have The Best Stoned Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is arguably every weed smokers favorite holiday. There is turkey and mashed potatoes, and your weird uncle only weed can make sense of. And, because it is now less than a week away, we wanted to give you a little advice that will ensure you have the best possible stoned Thanksgiving.
1. Be prepared
This means having enough weed to get you through the weekend. Remember, you will have A TON of leftovers. For some, however, obtaining marijuana the weekend after Thanksgiving may not be as hard, but always make sure you have enough to last you through Thanksgiving Day. Remember, you will be waking up early to the sounds of your extended family tromping around your house.
2. Wake and Bake
You will want to start your day off high, that way no one notices any change in your behavior. In the morning, just go to the garage, get high, and come back, easy-peazy. Remember weed breaks — remaining a consistent level of high throughout the day will ensure no one but your jealous cousins you never liked anyway finds out about your activities.
3. Pace Yourself
when you get back from the garage, you will be tempted to devour the cheese plate Great Aunt Mary brought, but pace yourself. You do not want to fill up on cheese when you have all the turkey you can stuff in your mouth waiting for you in the oven.
4. Share if you have to
Maybe you have a really awesome family and this isn’t an issue. Maybe you don’t. Either way, remember that this is the season of being thankful AND giving back to others, so if your weird cousin Eddie is begging to go out back with you, let him. And maybe even compliment him on his mediocre bud he is trying to impress you with.
5. Plan ahead
Be cognizant of when dinner will be served so as to get one last smoke sesh in before you eat. Just make sure you don’t show up late to the table.
6. Remember dessert
We find that after curbing your munchies all day, when the food finally arrives, it is easy to go so balls to the wall that you forget you have an array of delicious pies that still need to be eaten too. Remember, there will always be leftovers.
7. Have a Friendsgiving
Stoned Girls does this every year the weekend of Thanksgiving, where we make our family’s best dish and congregate at someone’s house for a lot of food, weed, and friendship.
