After months of instability and price fluctuations the mid-grade index actually held steady in November finishing only $3 away from it’s year-to-date average. The overall U.S. marijuana price index is up an impressive $23 from the previous month. This is due in large part to a rise in top-shelf prices, which clocked in a full $10 above it’s year-to-date average.
Thanks to a large outdoor harvest Washington once again holds the spot for cheapest buds in the nation. Honorable mention goes out to my home state of California for coming in a respectable 2nd with $200 ounces of Girl Scout Cookies. Iowa gets the dubious distinction of making New York weed prices look cheap this month with their reported $450 ounces, ouch!
