With the dawn of the New Year fast approaching, big things are happening in the states of Colorado and Washington. Come 2014, buying medical marijuana will now be as easy as going to your local liquor store and buying Hennessy, Grey Goose, Jack Daniels, or whatever your favorite libation might be. Dispensaries will be popping up in malls, strip malls, and centers of business across the two states starting in 2014. As long as you possess a valid I.D. stating that you are 21 or older, you wil be able to purchase medical marijuana at many locations in both states. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see a dispensary next to Victoria's Secret in my local mall...
"DENVER—Starting early next year, any adult with a craving or curiosity will be able to stroll into a strip mall or downtown shop in Colorado or Washington State and do what has long been forbidden: buy a zip-lock bag of legal marijuana.
After landmark votes made marijuana legal for recreational consumption, users in these two states will no longer need doctors' notes or medical reasons to buy the drug. Instead, they will simply show identification to prove they are at least 21, and with the cautious blessing of state and federal officials, they will be able to buy as much as an ounce of marijuana and smoke it in their living rooms."
